VOTE BILLY SOLOE FOR NEVADA STATE SENATE DISTRICT 10 LAS VEGAS!
Vehicle Insurance
State mandated vehicle insurance to residents is in my opinion is just simply unconstitutional. Not because they mandate insurance. but because they force you by law to purchase it from a private company.
What a wonderful world to be in business and to have your government make a law forcing people to buy your product and to fine them and put them in jail if they dont.
Holy Socialists!
Listen here. How about this idea...we simply just "pay as we go" insurance when we purchase gasoline by a nickel, dime or quarter on the gallon and eliminate the following items.
1. an unconstitutional law.
2. people getting tickets for no insurance.
3. Police not having to write you a ticket for no insurance.
(almost the same thing, except from a police officers view, we could save all
the time and hassle checking on insurance so he/her can actually be spending
that time watching for thieves.)
4. Judges not having "no insurance" defendants in the court room. Oh wow...might speed up our time for a speedy trial and free some much needed help in our court dockets.
5. The whole DMV program of suspending registrations if people let their
insurance lapse.
We could re-assign these people from suspending registrations to handling
liability claims in the state.
Wow, can you imagine...changing these peoples jobs from coming after you to
helping you...now that's what I call responsible government.
Ask yourself this question.
Would you rather be forced to give your money to some rich bastard company executive so he can purchase yachts and Mercedes Benz's or to your state government who responsibly provides for our roads and libraries?
Also, I always wanted to know how we let an insurance company dictate our insurance rates based on our credit rating. What? It's mind boggling to think about it.
Would it not be fair to everyone if you are paying for your insurance at the pump. The more you drive, the more your insurance. The less you drive, the cheaper your insurance. We could always put in a stipulation if you have so many accidents that your right to drive could be revoked. After all, that, in my mind is the safe thing to do as well.
Put 5 cents a gallon "pay as you go" insurance premium on gasoline and give the right to those who want "full coverage" the option to going to an insurance company for that.
Finally, one last thought...think about ALL those Californians coming to VEGAS on the weekend, and then going home! They fill'er up at the pump before they go across the desert....more money in the pot...revenue maker for sure because most of their miles will be driven in California and not Nevada.
Come on Folks...lets get start making sense to insensible laws.
I am Billy Soloe and I am running for Nevada State Senate!
Ideas for the people!
